Blackhawk Hockey Coaching Requirements

USA Hockey Certification Number & WAHA Affiliate Fee
USA Hockey is now screening coaches nationally every two years. If you are not sure when you last completed a background check, check with Jamie VanRanst. Cost is $30, which you can request reimbursement from the association.
(New USA Hockey requirement starting in 2014-15) - needs to be completed every year.
Check your USA Hockey account to see if you are current or if more modules are needed. Register only for the age level of play you are coaching. Cost is $10 per module. The online modules are available from September 1 to December 31.

Check your USA Hockey account to see if you are current or if more education is needed. Cost is $46 plus any affiliate fees if applicable. You can only attend one clinic per season. The coaching clinic season for Levels 1-3 officially runs from September 1 to December 31.
*Blackcat Coaches will have additional requirements to complete with River Falls. More information will be provided if selected.
