Learn to Play Hockey
The Learn to Play Hockey (LPH) program with Blackhawk Hockey Association is for any new players who have gone through the Learn to Skate program. Players should be 4 years old or older, have completed LTS, and are in the Baldwin-Woodville, St Croix Central, Spring Valley and Glenwood City School Districts.
Learn to Play Hockey is our program that most participate in after they have completed Learn to Skate (LTS) with us. In Learn to Skate we focus on just learning the basics to skating, stopping, balance, etc. In Learn to Play Hockey (LPH) we now will have sticks and start to introduce more drills and stations that involve puck carrying, shooting, passing, and more.
If you have your own equipment we ask you to bring it. You can indicate if you need equipment in the registration process. We will provide sticks to those that need one.
Ages
LPH is appropriate for players at least 4 years old who have completed the Learn to Skate (LTS) program.
Cost
The cost for the LPH program is $30 + processing fees (3% + $1.50).
When
